Matrix Clarity collects as little as possible. There is no account, and the matrix you fill in stays on your device. Here is exactly what the site does with data.

Who runs this site
Matrix Clarity is run by Adam Tibi, an individual based in London, United Kingdom. He is the data controller for this site, which means he decides what limited data it collects and why.
What we collect
When you accept analytics, the site records anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4, loaded with Google Tag Manager, and through Azure Application Insights. This shows which matrices people look for and how well the Matrix Finder and generator perform. It does not identify you by name. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage signals are sent.
The site also stores small pieces of data in your browser to remember your choices: your consent decision, notices you have dismissed, and a working draft of any matrix you are filling in. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Your matrix content stays on your device
The roles, items, and assignments you enter are held only in your browser. They are never uploaded to a server. They leave your device only when you choose to export or save a file, and that happens on your device too.
Cookies and consent
Matrix Clarity shows a consent banner on your first visit, following Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics cookies and tracking signals stay switched off until you accept. You can decline, though the site pauses until you accept, since analytics is how this free site is measured and improved.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you the right to see the data held about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to how it is used. Because the site holds no account for you and the usage data it collects is anonymous, there is usually nothing tied to you that we can send back, correct, or delete. If you have a question about your rights, contact us using the details below.
California residents
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information is collected and to ask for it to be deleted. Matrix Clarity does not sell or share your personal information, and it never has.
